Quite aptly, arranging this piece gave me an avenue to express my sentimental thoughts, and say goodbye to an old house filled with so many memories. This was followed by many weeks of packing her belongings, uncovering forgotten treasures, and recalling the days of my childhood. Not long after, my grandmother announced that she intended to sell her house - the very house that I spent most of my growing-up years in. My maternal grandmother had sung this to me in my younger days. Que Sera, Sera, although not a folksong, was the first that came to mind. I was tasked to think about what songs my grandparents sang to me. The idea of arranging this piece first came to me when I attended a Folksong Arrangement class.
